A new brand identity for the clinical stage bioscience company that develops drugs for human diseases, derived from active compounds found in medicinal fungi and plants.
BAGI whose name is an abbreviation of "BioActivity Guided Identification", was co-founded in 2006 by Abraham Chan, a well-known entrepreneur in Hong Kong and China for his work in the modernisation of Chinese medicine and Professor Allan Lau, Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine The University of Hong Kong who founded the Molecular Chinese Medicine Laboratory.

Innovation Rooted in History
BAGI's new brand identity has been crafted with a contemporary edge while referencing a sense of history by displaying scans of the medicinal fungi and plants that have been used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries.

A full brand toolkit of assets, application system, brand collateral and templates were created for the project. BAGI's mobile-first website was also designed and built as part of the rollout of the brand identity. Look out for a link to BAGI's website at the end of this case study to discover more about the exciting activity of the organisation.
